All changes to open orders must be submitted in writing.
All prices are listed in US dollars. All prices are subject to change without notice. Retailers must agree to sell at or over MSRP.
Jao Ltd. has adopted a Minimum Adverstising Price (MAP) Policy on all Jao products, which shall apply to all retailers (and any name they function by), including catalog and internet retailers who resell Jao Brand.
No retailer may sell any Jao Brand product at a net price that is lower than our set MAP (minimum advertised price). Please refer to our website for the MAP.
This policy applies to all advertisements of Jao products including any and all media. This includes but is not limited to: coupons, catalogs, magazines, internet or similar electronic media including websites, email newsletters, television, radio and public signage.
We require that all accounts doing business on the internet have a web address of their own and sell Jao products on that site (an individual URL, NOT a sub directory, alternate name or someone else’s URL such as Amazon.com storefront). Additionally, resellers of Jao products are expressly forbidden to list our products on ANY on-line auction site such as eBay.
Jao Ltd. will review all internet commerce to assure adherence to this policy. In cases of violation of this MAP and/or E-Commerce Policy, resellers will be allowed 24 hours to bring advertising into compliance. If no change is made in the allotted time period, all shipments will be discontinued until the necessary changes are made. Jao Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or limit the sale of its products to parties whose sale and distribution methods are incompatible with those of Jao Ltd.
SAMPLES & TESTERS
Samples are included with each order. Samples are not for resale. Testers are not to be resold under any circumstance.
All Jao Brand images, logos and photography are the exclusive property of Jao Ltd. We provide marketing materials and high-resolution images on our website for your use.
E-COMMERCE INVENTORY POSITION
Jao Ltd. is interested in establishing business relationships with retailers who stock products. Therefore, we require that customers only feature products on their websites that they have in stock, ready to ship to their customers.
Once the product is out of stock it should be marked as sold out and/or removed from the site.
We ship by UPS Ground for domestic orders and USPS Priority Mail International for International orders. We are happy to work with you if there is another shipping method (Freight/DHL/FedEx) that you would prefer to use. We will not ship via any method that does not provide detailed tracking.
ADDITIONAL HANDLING & PACKAGING FEES
Special handling requests are subject to an extra charge.
DROP SHIPPING AND C.O.D.
Jao Ltd. does not drop ship or ship C.O.D.
While we are happy to work with you to get your shipment out by a certain date, our lead times are not guaranteed. Once an order is confirmed, in-stock items usually ship in 1-2 weeks. If timing is critical, please contact our office.
We accept payment by company check, wire transfer, Paypal and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Returned checks are subject to a $25 processing fee. If you are paying by check or wire transfer, your order will not be processed until Jao Ltd. has received the funds.
Net 30 terms will only be offered upon approval to customers who have submitted satisfactory credit references. Net 30 terms will only be offered to customers who have placed a minimum of 6 orders. Net 30 terms may be revoked after multiple late payments.
Payments must be made on or before the due date. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. Jao Ltd. reserves the right to submit all unpaid invoices to a collection agency. The buyer is responsible for any collection costs or legal fees.
Jao Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or limit the sale of its products to those whose sales and distribution methods are incompatible with those of Jao Brand for any reason.
All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery for shortage and damages before signing acceptance of goods. Any claims for damages or shortage of cartons must be made directly with the carrier immediately. We are not responsible for any delay or damage caused by the carrier. If there is concealed damage, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Merchandise cannot be returned without prior authorization. No returns or refunds will be given after 30 days from the invoice date. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. If returning merchandise due to defect or damage, Jao Ltd. will send you a call tag.
